Mandy Lange emerges triumphant as this year’s MISS TUNING

Results of the hottest tuning competition of the year: Mandy Lange is the new MISS TUNING

The world of tuning has a new ambassador: Mandy Lange from Wandlitz, Germany was chosen as MISS TUNING 2011 on the final day of TUNING WORLD BODENSEE, Europe’s largest trade show devoted to car tuning. With tears in her eyes, the 23-year-old beamed with pleasure while a flurry of cameras flashed. “I still can’t believe it – it’s just incredible,” said the newly crowned beauty queen. Over the next year, she will represent the international tuning scene as well as being the subject of the exclusive 2012 MISS TUNING calendar. The idyllic beaches and impressive cityscapes of Croatia will be the backdrop for her first glossy calendar.

Lange, who enjoys riding horses, is delighted to be able to trade in her old Audi for her newly won company car, a Škoda Fabia RS. “The car is great! I can hardly wait to drive the little green speedster.” Lange will also enjoy a two-month supply of unlimited pizza from pizza.de.

Over the four days of the exhibition, the 23-year-old business assistant working in the sports and fitness industry emerged victorious from among the 18 finalists who were chosen from over 500 applicants. The nine-member jury was impressed with her modeling of evening clothes, streetwear and a bikini, as well as with her interview. The second and third-place winners were Adriana Popa from Munich and Lilia Kutlina from Hörbranz, Austria.
