As a trade fair organizer, we want to facilitate media access to inform about our events and our company through accreditation. Accreditation is granted exclusively for the purpose of media reporting.
The following individuals are eligible for media accreditation:
Individuals from Germany or abroad who can prove their journalistic (also photojournalistic) activity as follows:
- By presenting original bylined articles that are not older than six months at the time of the event (including web links)
- By submitting an original imprint/legal notice (or web link) in which they are listed as editors, regular editorial staff or authors, that is not older than six months at the time of the event
- By presenting a valid ID card from youth press organizations (members of school newspapers or similar youth media without a valid youth press ID will receive a one-day pass once)
- Press photographers who can prove they are engaged in journalistic activities. Current publications with bylines (not older than six months) should be automatically attached to the application for accreditation.
- Holders of a valid press ID from a national or foreign association of journalists.
Please note that the presentation of a press card is generally not sufficient on its own for accreditation. The trade fair organizer reserves the right to request further evidence to verify journalistic activity in accordance with points 1 - 4. - Operators of an active blog or social media channel (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, or similar) whose specialty or topic relates to the respective trade fair:
- The activity must be proven with the corresponding links
- The blog or social media channel has existed for at least a year
- Industry-related content or content relevant to the trade fair’s target audience is published on the channels on a regular basis, i.e., at least once a month, in the form of text, images, and/or video.
- It must be clearly identifiable that the content was created by you personally and relates thematically to the trade fair
- The blog or social media channel must include an imprint/legal notice listing you by name.
- The blog or social media channel complies with the quality standards of our company (appearance, KPIs, etc.). To facilitate the review process, you are welcome to provide key metrics (page impressions, page insights, unique visitors, or average time spent on the page) of your page/channel as screenshots, either via upload or by e-mail.
We reserve the right to limit accreditation to a maximum of three persons per blog/channel.
Please note that we can only issue accreditations for content creators in advance, as the review process is very time-consuming.
ACCREDITATION WILL NOT BE GRANTED TO THE FOLLOWING:
- Individuals without any journalistic credentials, such as account managers, sales managers, advertising directors or web admins, PR consultants, and private accompanying persons
- Germans residing in Germany who present a foreign press card
- Anyone who is exclusively active on social networks in a private capacity
- Persons whose editorial confirmation is issued by other freelance journalists; this applies in particular to accompanying persons.
- Product testers
- Commercial platforms that sell products and services online
- Corporate blogs
- PR blogs
- Private accompanying persons
The credentials should be presented in German or English. The trade fair organizer reserves the right to additionally request the presentation of a valid photo ID in individual cases.
There is no entitlement to accreditation. If necessary, the fair organizer reserves the right to refuse admission.
Even if you have been added to the press mailing list of the respective event in advance, this does not automatically entitle you to receive a press pass.
