Coronavirus Checklist

Dear interested party,

Thank you for your interest in the safety and hygiene concept and/or the Coronavirus Checklist of Messe Friedrichshafen.

On the basis of our safety and hygiene concept of September 7, 2020, we were able to successfully hold two trade fairs in September 2020: INTERBOOT and INTERDIVE. This means our concepts have proven themselves in practice.

However, since last October, both the Covid-19 pandemic and the resulting government actions have steadily intensified. Currently, trade fairs and events are not permitted on the basis of the Coronavirus Regulation of the State Government of Baden-Württemberg that is currently in force.

We are proceeding on the assumption that the safety and hygiene concepts of future trade fairs and events will be subject to requirements that differ from those that recently applied.

In order to provide you with only the most current and valid information, we have decided not to publish the documents that were valid just a few weeks ago. As soon as new rules for holding trade fairs and events have been defined in the Coronavirus Regulation(s), an updated version of these documents will be made available.

Our floorspace allocation concept, as well as the layout of the halls, will be adapted to the current circumstances and to the number of bookings we receive. The aisles will be widened, the overall layout will be more spacious, and waiting areas will be added.

 

In enclosed rooms, all persons 6 years of age or older must wear a mouth-and-nose covering at all times.
Mouth-and-nose coverings are not mandatory:

  • at each of the stands, provided that the exhibitor has ensured that the minimum distance of 1.5 meters (approx. 5 feet) between persons can be maintained at all times,
  • in seating areas, provided that measures have been taken to ensure that the minimum distance of 1.5 meters between persons can be maintained at all times,
  • for employees, provided that they are working at a location where no visitors are present,
  • when availing oneself of gastronomical services (i.e. when eating and drinking),
  • when other equipment that provides equal or greater protection to other persons is present.

Everyone must bring his or her own mouth-and-nose covering, as they will only be available for purchase in exceptional cases.

Maintaining a minimum distance of 1.5 meters (approx. 5 feet) from other persons is mandatory.

Exhibitor passes will be issued by means of voucher codes. When registering online, each member of your team must enter his or her voucher code to obtain an exhibitor pass, and will thereby be registered. The exhibitor passes, each of which is registered, will then be scanned on site for access/entry.

Persons who are in contact with a person infected with the Coronavirus, or have been in contact with a person infected with the coronavirus within the past 14 days, or who present the typical symptoms of a Coronavirus infection are not allowed to enter the exhibition grounds.

Everyone must be fully registered to enter the exhibition grounds during these phases, as well. Exhibitor passes are required during stand construction and dismantling. Special set-up and dismantling passes can be ordered from the project team to register persons without an exhibitor pass (e.g. exhibition builders, etc.).

The concept for your stand must be adapted to the rules concerning social distancing and hygiene.

Yes. Guest tickets will be issued by means of a voucher code, which the visitor/customer can use to obtain a ticket in our online ticket shop.

The minimum 1.5-meter distance between persons must be ensured. In circumstances where maintaining this distance is impossible, suitable structural measures (e.g. a breath droplet shield) must be implemented. In planning your stand, please allow for 7 sq m (approx. 75 sq ft) per person.

Our modern ventilation system continuously ventilates the entrance areas, the exhibition halls, the conference rooms and the catering areas, and supplies the freshest air possible of outdoor-air quality.

Our catering facilities on the exhibition grounds will be open. Messe Friedrichshafen's gastronomy and catering partner has adapted its food services concepts to the current circumstances and is complying with the currently valid COVID-19 ordinance (Corona-Verordnung).

Brochures and other printed materials may still be displayed and distributed at your stand.
